According to reports, in 2012, the surface LCD TV panel shipments of 6.1 million, the penetration rate of 2.3%, by 2016, surface LCD TV panel shipments are expected to reach 12.5 million, the penetration rate increased to 4.7%. Among them, in 2015, Samsung shipments reached 4.9 million, AU Optronics shipments reached 1.2 million.
