Samsung announced that it will find the cause of OLED degradation, which will solve the problem of short life
Samsung Electronics OLED panel development breakthrough, March 25th Samsung Electronics and South Korea's Ewha Women's University, together to find ways to extend the life of OLED.

Nowadays, the problem of the short life of blue OLEDs has been solved. Yonhap News reported that Samsung's Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) and Ewha Women's University worked together to find out the cause of the degradation of blue OLEDs, and found out how to extend the life of OLEDs.
Research has found that it is extremely important to control electron transport and reduce the generation of excitons. It is recommended to use a new material composition framework to develop longer-lived blue OLED devices. This discovery was published in the online edition of Nature Communications.
